Choose Board Games
Why board games in the 21st Century? That’s like the 19th Century right? I’ve got a Wii, a PSP, a broadband internet connection and an iPhone. What else do you need?
Well, here are some reasons why I’d say you need to play more board games:

Ten Simple Beauty Tips
The world would have us believe that there are no simple and inexpensive natural beauty tips and tricks. What makes me say that? Well, did you know that the beauty industry is a nearly $300 BILLION dollar empire? And that the average woman spends about $15,00 on just makeup in her lifetime!. And according to a UK survey, women will spend well over a year of their life applying that makeup. Ouch.
That, of course, says nothing of the toxic chemicals so commonly found (with almost zero regulation) in beauty products. Yep. Seems like the world is telling us that we need to spend lots of time, lots of money, and risk our health to be beautiful.

How to take care of a Tuxedo
Some tips to help you make sure your tuxedo will be just fine.
Cleaning
To further minimize any unnecessary pain tuxedo should be cleaned and repaired as necessary soon after each use.
Suit
Like any suit, a tuxedo should be dry-cleaned as little as possible. This is because the chemicals used in the process tend to dry out the natural moisture of a suit’s fabric and consequently reduce its lifespan. Instead, keep the suit fresh by following a few simple steps after wearing:
- Brush out superficial dirt and raise the nap of the fabric with a good clothes brush
- Remove wrinkles with an iron at home or with professional pressing at a dry cleaner
- Remove minor stains with a damp cloth
- Hang the suit up in a washroom or laundry room to air out odors
For those times when dry cleaning is necessary for either the jacket or trousers, The Encyclopedia of Men’s Clothes wisely recommends that both garments be cleaned together in case the process affects their coloring slightly.

Orange the new number 1!
Often considered garish, dated, and decidedly un-chic, the color orange is nothing if not divisive. In fact—unless it’s splashed cross a cardboard box with the word Hermes written on it—the shade gets relatively little play among the fashion crowd. But if the runways at NYFW are any indication, that’s about to change next season.

How to Make Business Casual
Business
casual means many things to many people, but the consensus tends to
be “Not jeans, but not a suit”. Although I do love wearing a nice
fitted suit, business casual is my favorite type of clothing style
for everyday wear.
Business casual still allows you to come off as
confident, intelligent, and respectable, without having to wear a
three-piece suit.
Keep
in mind that just because the word “casual” is in business
casual, doesn’t mean you can do it half-assed. There is a distinct
difference between not wearing a t-shirt or jeans and successfully
pulling off business casual. Stand out in the office; don’t try to
just reach the minimal dress-code requirements. Dress well and it
will reflect favorably on your work.

How To Look Thinner
We
know, we know: A healthy diet and a dedicated fitness
routine are the keys to the weight-loss kingdom (sigh), but
there are times when we’re all a little less diligent than we
should be. Whether we’re too busy to count calories and hit the
gym, or we’re just enjoying indulging for a change, we’ve
definitely all slacked when it comes to keeping our bodies in
tip-top shape. Which is why it’s key to know how to look
thinner using nothing but your clothes.

Super-Flared Jeans!!!
The
funny thing about fashion is that its completely cyclical. Whereas
once upon a time we swore to our mom’s we’d never, ever be caught
dead in their old flared jeans–or, more specifically, anything
other than skinny cut denim–now it’s the only thing we want to
wear.
Thanks
to a strong ’70s movement on the runways, street style stars are
starting to embrace the hallmark of haute hippie style: Flared and
wide bootcut jeans. It might sound a little daunting now,
particularly if you’ve never strayed from straight and skinny cuts,
but trust us that this fashion risk is one that will pay off.
Right
now the street style set flocking to the haute couture
shows are revisiting the boho trend, dressing it up with pointy
pumps, or adding a grungy vibe by cropping theirs and pairing
with flat, lace boots. Take their style cues and update your own
denim wardrobe this season.

Investing In Your Wardrobe
Clothing
is something that can you get in trouble financially if you spend too
much on it and can cost you certain opportunities if you don’t
spend enough on it.
Let's
be honest: we live in a very materialistic world where people will
make presumptions based on the way you dressed. However, this isn’t
always a bad thing, because clothing can be used as a tool to help
you get ahead. If you dress well, you can meet complete strangers who
know nothing about you and yet will make positive assumptions about
you based on the clothing you wear.
There
is also quite a bit of truth behind the expression, “the way you
dress says a lot about your character and stature.” The way we
dress is essentially a part of our identity. Clothes can proclaim
everything from your profession, to your passions, or even both at
the same time.
We
know that dressing well can be costly, but it can be even more costly
if you don’t. You don’t have to break the bank on designer
apparel; you just have to spend a little extra on nice, well-fitted
clothing. If getting ahead in life is important to you, you should
definitely invest in your wardrobe.
Here is why:

$2,000.

Try this: Big Sweater and Sleek Skirt
Photos: Malmo Streetstyle
We’ve always found that one of the most effective ways to shake up your look with minimal commitment is to play with proportion. This means pairing pieces you already have, but might not think to wear together.
One perfect example: Teaming up an oversized sweater with a sleek skirt. Not only does it look incredibly current—voluminous knits are having a big moment—but it creates an effortless dichotomy that wouldn’t exactly come with pairing that skirt with a silky blouse or super-fitted sweater.
Not to mention, it allows you to take that big, bulky sweater that you probably typically reserve for casual days spent lounging in jeans, and make it work for several new occasions—the office, a date, or a night on the town. All you have to swap is the shoes you choose to wear.

New Pant Length Is Kicky, Short, and Totally Stylish... Fashion for Next Season ;)
Photographed by Patrick Demarchelier, Vogue,February 2015
Looking good in your trousers shouldn’t be rocket science. But whether it’s bell-bottoms or skinnies, flares or boot-cut, sometimes these things conspire against your particular person—whether that means your body shape or your state of mind. (Transitioning from the ubiquitous skinny jean to fashion’s favored wider cut—and the tide is turning!—has proved to be a slow, dramatic shift; one we encourage, of course, but one that requires a certain willingness for change.) And in the case of the new pant—kicky, often (but not always) lean, and cut significantly above the ankle, as seen on the spring runways and pre-fall presentations from Chanel, Miu Miu, Thom Browne, and The Row—it’s easy to feel like you’re in over your head.

How to wear plaid
When it comes to wearing plaid, a few things might come to mind. A bagpipe blowing, kilt wearing Scotsman. A log-chopping, flapjack eating Lumberjack. A cattle-herding, horse riding Cowboy. A Doc Marten wearing, grunge loving Seattle-ite. Although plaid is always in style for outdoorsmen and those who wear kilts, it is the influence of the 1990s grunge era that has brought plaid back as fashionable gear. The current trend of plaid, however, is not just worn as plaid flannels shirts as was popular in the 90s. Today, designers are mad about plaid and incorporating this popular pattern in a variety of clothing items and accessories.
Plaid is made in a variety of colors with horizontal and vertical lines criss-crossing each other. Its origin is traced back to Scotland, when each Clan or family name had its very own distinguishing color and design of plaid called a tartan. Modern designers however get creative with alternating various colors and design for fashion-sake only. Plaid is a versatile pattern, ranging from conservative to bold. The following are ideas on how to incorporate plaid into your wardrobe, including the much loved traditional button-up flannel shirt.

All About Denim
America certainly seems to have a love affair with denim, or jeans. What was once worn for function, such as working in the mines or on farms, has now become a staple garment in American fashion, but with great differences. The original denim product was predominately manufactured as pants or overalls that were a stiff formed fabric, prior to being worn in. As jeans become more of a fashion statement, rather than worn as protection, the textile industry found new ways to process the fabric with more comfort and style. New technology provided ways for manufacturers of denim to create the look and feel of a worn in product before it ever got worn in.
